Strictly Saturday….

You wouldn’t believe how difficult it is to order a few CD Calendar Cases on-line.  You can have 200 or 500 but if you just want 5 or 10 you’ve had it!  Anyhoo… got some ordered (20 minimum order)from a company called Jetcase, just hope Postman Pat can find it in his heart to deliver them before Christmas!!  Grrrr!

Was in town at the crack of sparrows this morning with Megz…..I hate Swindon town centre these days, they seem to be making a right mess of it everywhere you look.  I bought a new mascara, some jazzy tights and   some pretty papers!  Oh and also some sweets for the trick or treaters tonight……if we get any.  Didn’t have anyone come calling last year.

Can’t wait for Monday to roll around so we can start out Blogging for Scrapbookers class with Shimelle.  Thanks very much to everyone who has been leaving comments it’s much appreciated!

Finally Friday…..

Friday at last….woo hoo!

I went for a nice long walk with Milo to Avebury today (my spiritual home) and took some photos.  Felt a lot better for some fresh air and exercise.  IMG_0652 IMG_0641

Reasons to be cheerful….

I have been off work today and feeling very low and fed up (money worries) but having read a few blogs been for a long walk with the dog I now feel a bit brighter and have decided to make myself list 5 reasons to be cheerful today!
  1. I still have my Mum and Dad
  2. Everyone in my immediate family is healthy
  3. I’ve just made my first birthday card in ages and am pleased with it
  4. I have one or two really good friends who really care for me
  5. I love scrapbooking
IMG_0003 This is the card….it’s for my DD’s friend and she wanted me to us this photo of them.  It’s fairly simple but looks OK I think.
I took a couple of photos of our rabbit, Dexter, yesterday.  He was stretched out in the sun.  He’s only 3 months old yet so I think he’s gonna be a big boy when fully grown.

Forgot to say that the picture from yesterday is of our guinea pig, Roxy, who sadly has gone over Rainbow Bridge now.

Test post

This is to see if I’ve cracked inserting pictures yet….

The sun is shining…..

What a lovely day it’s turned out to be!  Started off IMG_0626.jpg sunny day picture by scarymary555quite murky and grey but the sun broke through and it was a lovely afternoon, very warm!

Day started off with my dreaded sebaceous cyst leaking, IMG_0635.jpg picture by scarymary555so DH had a go at it and quite a lot of puss came out….yewww!  I can’t wait to be rid of the bloody thing!!

Bought a copy of Scrapbook Inspirations today as I believe it is ceasing publication so I thought I’d get one last issue.  It’s not a mag I buy religiously (in fact I don’t buy any religiously) but it is a good mag and will be missed from the shelves I’m sure.

Have started to comment on Facebook again as I got out of the habit and it’s quite a good way of keeping up with friends and family (if I remember!).

Tentative Tuesday….

Well here we are on the 2nd day of blogging and I have downloaded Windows Live Writer as recommended by fellow bloggers.  This is supposed to make life much easier in blogland and so I’m willing to give anything a go – so onwards and upwards.

Nothing much new to report today (as always)   because I live such a boring life, however I will try to post a couple of recent pictures to jazz this post up a bit!

Blogging for scrapbookers....

Once more into the breach dear friends.....

Inspired by Shimelle's latest on-line class ~ Blogging for Scrapbookers I am going to resume posting to my blog (again) but hopefully (with Shim's help) it shall look prettier and be more informative and fun.
